It is used for dyeing wool, silk fabrics and polyamide fabrics, as well as for coloring leather, paper, soap, wood, medicine and cosmetics.
Biological Research: As a superior cell staining agent, Acid Violet 19 is widely used in both animal and plant preparation. It effectively stains the skin, pulp, parenchyma cells, and cellulose walls.
In pathology, it is essential for Masson staining and V.G staining. Note: Acid Violet 19 reacts easily with alkali; excessive staining may fade in tap water. Pre-immersion in acidic water can enhance its dyeing power.
