Niclosamide 70%WP

This product is a phenolic organic molluscicide. Its mechanism of action is to reduce the breathing function by preventing the intake oxygen of the pest snails, and finally suffocates them. It has a good control efficacy on rice field snails.

Uses and Recommendations
Crop Target Dosage Application Method
Rice Snail (Pomacea canaliculata) 450-600 g/ha Spray
Apply uniformly 1-5 days after rice seedling transplantation. Maintain 3-5 cm water layer for 7+ days.
Block paddy field ridges and inlets/outlets to prevent water exchange.
Do not mix with compound or phosphorus-containing fertilizers.
Avoid application on windy days or if rain is expected within one hour.
Best efficacy achieved when water temperature is above 20 ºC.
